GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE
Reservation – Deposit – Payment:
The reservation becomes final only upon receipt of a deposit equal to 50% of the total cost of the stay.
From 30 days before the scheduled arrival date, the full amount of the stay is due. If the stay is shortened or not completed as originally booked, the deposit will be retained as compensation for the unused nights.
Balance:
The remaining balance is payable on site upon arrival at check-in.
Cancellation:
For cancellations made more than 30 days before the scheduled arrival date, the deposit paid by the guest will either be refunded in full or retained by the hotel as a credit valid for 18 months towards a future stay (COVID-19 measure). If this credit is not used within 18 months, it will be permanently forfeited.
For any cancellation made less than 30 days before arrival, the deposit will be retained.
For cancellation requests made less than 30 days before arrival due to specific circumstances such as strikes, illness, accidents, etc., SARL La Table de Marie reserves the right to consider a request for cancellation free of charge but cannot under any circumstances guarantee that such a request will be accepted.
Health Crisis:
By making a reservation with SARL La Table de Marie, you agree to our booking and cancellation conditions.
In the event of health measures related to COVID-19 imposed by the French authorities (lockdown, closure of the establishment, etc.), the deposit will be systematically refunded or a credit note will be issued, free of charge.
No-show:
For any confirmed reservation where guests fail to arrive without informing us, 100% of the total cost of the stay will be charged.
Check-in / Check-out:
Arrival day: accommodation is available from 4:00 p.m. For late arrivals after 8:00 p.m., please contact us so that we can arrange your arrival.
Departure day: accommodation must be vacated by 10:00 a.m.
Pets:
Pets are not allowed.
Occupancy of the Accommodation:
The guest shall use the rented premises and furniture in a reasonable and appropriate manner.
The accommodation is rented for a stay beginning and ending on the dates specified in the booking agreement.
The guest signing this agreement shall under no circumstances be entitled to remain on the premises after the end of the rental period.
The rental agreement concluded between the parties may under no circumstances benefit third parties without the prior consent of the accommodation provider.
The guest must report any malfunction of the services or equipment.
The guest must ensure the peaceful use of the accommodation and use the premises solely for their intended purpose.
Parties are strictly prohibited within the Appart’Hôtel.
Inventory and Condition of the Accommodation:
The parties agree that an inspection of the accommodation will be carried out at the beginning of the stay.
Any complaint concerning the inventory, cleanliness or condition of the accommodation must be made immediately after the keys are handed over.
The accommodation must contain the furniture, crockery and bedding specified in its description.
The guest shall be responsible for all items listed in the inventory and shall reimburse the cost of any damaged items and, where necessary, the cost of repairing or restoring them.
The guest must report any damage or breakage occurring during the stay.
Cleaning:
Please note that the end-of-stay cleaning service includes cleaning of the accommodation by a cleaning company.
However, it does not include washing the dishes, cleaning the kitchenette or tidying the accommodation. These remain the responsibility of the guest.
Extras / Security Deposit:
Extras and tourist tax will be paid at the end of the stay.
We reserve the right to place a pre-authorisation on your bank card upon arrival to guarantee payment of any extras.
A security deposit of €300 will be required. This amount may be exceeded if the cost of damage is higher and may then correspond to the actual cost of restoring the premises or rented items, replacing damaged or missing items, exceptional cleaning or other charges and, as a last resort, any unpaid accommodation charges.
In such cases, the guest authorises the accommodation provider to charge their credit card accordingly as an additional guarantee.
Tourist Tax:
Tourist tax will be charged separately, either at the beginning or at the end of the stay.
Right of Withdrawal:
In accordance with Article L. 221-28 of the French Consumer Code, the Guest does not have a right of withdrawal due to the nature of the services provided.
The contract is therefore definitively concluded once the Guest has made the reservation in accordance with the procedures set out in these General Terms and Conditions of Sale.
Disputes:
Any disputes arising from purchases and sales concluded under these General Terms and Conditions of Sale, whether concerning their validity, interpretation, performance, termination, consequences or subsequent effects, which cannot be resolved amicably between the Hotel and the Guest, shall be submitted to the competent courts in accordance with applicable law.
The Guest is informed that, in the event of a dispute, they may in all circumstances use a consumer mediation procedure, in particular in accordance with Article L. 612-1 of the French Consumer Code, or any other alternative dispute resolution procedure, such as conciliation.
The accommodation provider declares that the establishment and its furniture are insured against fire.
Guests should, if they consider it necessary, take out their own insurance covering their personal belongings against fire and theft. The accommodation provider accepts no liability in this respect.
